We have recently completet a project in cooperation with Wartsila, where we installed the Fusion flowmeter onboard Trondebas with their Wartsila 12V32 engine.

During the run-up of the system we tested the accuracy of the consumption readings by circulating the fuel flow past the engine. (I.e. supply flow should equal return flow). By looking at the reported difference between supply and return flow we learned that the system had a margin of error better than 0.12% which is very good and even better than expected. 

The ships chief mechanic was anxious to see how much pressure increase the system would introduce. The pressure increase was however measured to be only 0.9 BAR, which is well within the tolerances of the engines fuel pumps.

As a result of the successful installation onboard Tronderbas, we have recieved a new order from the vessel Selvaag Senior. In addition the Fusion flowmeter will soon be installed onboard Tronderkari. In total we have sold 7 systems in the relatively short timespan since we recieved the distribution rights for FTI Fusion in Norway and Iceland.
