Compared to its well proven predecessor, the KCH-2180, this new sonar has the following new specs: Automatic tracking of fish shoals, better and more accurate filtration, higher real screen resolution and faster refresh rate, a more intuitive user interface and new operation console for increased ease of use.

KCH 3180 is appropriate for all types of fishing, but feedback from our customers tells us that this sonar is the preferred one for mackerel and saithe fishing. This because it enables detection of mackerel even under bad sonar conditions. The KCH-3180 is also excellent for detecting saithe in shallow waters. Detection range for saithe and mackerel is typically around max 900m. This new sonar is also just as robust and reliable as its predecessor.
