We were onboard the MS Elisabeth to install our solution on an integrated bridge, MolBridge. We cleaned up and removed old VGA cables, removed the previous 12x8 video matrix, and installed a full KVM matrix. Now all PCs onboard can be moved, displayed on all screens, and easily operated from a shared mouse and keyboard. The MolBridge KVM boxes provide the vessel with much greater flexibility for future solutions. With support for 4K resolution and easy options for future upgrades, MolBridge makes the bridge more future-proof. Upgrading to MolBridge allowed us to add even more screens and sources than with the old matrix, as well as the possibility to easily add more later on.
We also set up brightness control for the screens, so that all displays that support integrated brightness control can be managed individually, in groups, or all together using predefined modes like "Day," "Dusk," and "Night," or adjusted step-by-step (slider/ + and - buttons).
