We were on board MS Ola Ryggefjord to install our integrated bridge solution, MolBridge. We cleaned up and removed old VGA cables and installed a full KVM matrix. Now, all onboard PCs can be displayed on any screen and easily controlled using a shared mouse and keyboard. The MolBridge KVM units provide the vessel with significantly greater flexibility for future solutions. With support for 4K resolution and easy upgrade options, MolBridge makes the bridge more future-proof.
The upgrade to MolBridge also allowed us to add more screens and sources than the old matrix supported, as well as the option to easily expand the system with additional units in the future.
We also set up screen lighting control, allowing all displays that support integrated brightness control to be managed individually, in groups, or all at once using predefined modes such as "Day," "Evening," and "Night" — or adjusted step-by-step via slider or +/- buttons.
