The Koden MDC-5000 series is a black box radar that can be delivered with 5 different scanner units and antennas of different sizes. The compact processor makes the MDC-5000 easy to install in tight compartments. An analog monitor of choice can be connected to the processor.

MDC-5000 comes with an integrated AIS and ARPA function. The AIS interface can display up to 500 targets and the ARPA interface can display up to 50 targets. Targets can be plotted automatically or manually. Automatic gain, STC and rain function makes operation easy and improves visibilty of echoes. MDC-5000 is one of the most flexible radar series from Koden, it can be installed with the 4kW 2ft radome antenna and all other scanners to the 25kW 6ft antenna. This makes the MDC-5000 series suitable for all types of vessels.
