About Olex:
Olex is a unique navigation and mapping system developed by Olex AS in Trondheim. The system is used in areas such as fishing, aquaculture, port work and cable laying operations. Using GPS and echo sounder the depth data is collected which is continuously calculated and adapted to previous measurements. The result is visualized in real time as a realistic 3D image of the seabed. The system has advanced functions for navigation and can easily be expanded with software for equipment such as AIS, multi-beam echo sounder and ROV / trawl positioning.
